Holiday chalet insurance
Chalet insurance. Relax and enjoy peace of mind.
Your holiday chalet is somewhere you can retreat to. A place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It should be somewhere you look forward to spending your time. And you shouldn't have to worry about your chalet being damaged or broken into whilst you aren't staying there. Specialist insurance from Ripe is here to ease those worries.
What kind of chalets do you cover?
We cover a variety of different chalets up to £500,000 in value. Whether your chalet is detached or semi-detached, Swiss or Scandinavian style, we've got the right cover to suit you. As long as your chalet is only used for holiday purposes and isn't somewhere you live all year round, we can cover it. Getting a quote for your chalet is quick and easy - why not see how much you could save on your current policy?
Why do I need insurance for my chalet?
As a chalet owner, you'll be well aware of the risks to your property. Storm damage, fire, flood, break-ins, and vandalism are among the most common incidents which lead to expensive chalet repair costs. There are also risks to other people and their property that you should be aware of. For example, if there was a fire in your chalet which spread to other properties nearby, you might be found to be liable for any damage caused. The holiday park where your chalet is kept may also request that you have a certain level of Public Liability insurance cover to stay on their property. Take a look at Our Cover for details of the different cover options we have available.
What does chalet insurance cover?
Chalet insurance from Ripe covers your holiday home against damage caused by accidents, fire and theft, up to a maximum property value of £500,000. You are also covered for Public Liability up to £2m, which covers you against claims for damage to third party property or injury. As our insurance is unpackaged, you can then choose to add extra cover where you need it, creating a policy which suits you.
