Creating your caravan insurance has never been easier
New or old, static or mobile, our caravan insurance is the quickest and simplest way to guarantee peace of mind. We think that your insurance should be built around you, giving you the choice of extra cover where you need it and keeping the cost down too. We make it really easy to build your own caravan insurance policy, adding only the cover you need. Take a look at the different cover options available by caravan type below.
Static caravan policy benefits

Your caravan and contents (contents up to £30,000) will be protected against fire, lightning, storm, flood, accidental loss or damage, vandalism and malicious damage, frost, theft and falling trees.

We can cover all static caravans aged up to 10 years on a new for old basis. Caravans over 10 years old will be covered on a market value basis.

£2m Public Liability cover is included as standard, protecting you against the risk of any claims for injury to another person or property damage. You can upgrade to £3m or £5m for an additional fee.

Provides cover up to £1,500 for any accidental damage to underground pipes, drains and cables (including their inspection covers) for which you are responsible. Debris removal is covered up to £10,000. Read the debris removal FAQ.

Provides cover for the loss or damage to the food in your freezer up to £750 (providing Contents cover is selected) as a result of a malfunction or rise or fall in temperature.

If you select Contents cover, an extra layer of protection is provided and in case of a break-in, theft of money from the home is covered up to £250.
Additional cover
Tailor your policy with any of these options

Provides protection against loss or damage to personal possessions such as handbags and sunglasses up to maximum value of £2,000. The maximum amount you can claim per item is £500.

If you rent out your holiday home you can add extra cover for theft, loss or damage whilst it is in the care of the person renting it. This also covers any loss of rental income and cancelled bookings due to damage to your caravan. Read the Rental Cover FAQ.

Provides cover for accommodation expenses if your holiday home is damaged in an incident and you have to temporarily stay elsewhere.

Provides Legal Expenses insurance up to £25,000 for instances such as sale and purchase disputes, evictions and property infringement.

Choose to protect your no claims discount with an additional premium and your discount will remain unaffected, even if you need to make a claim. Read more in the FAQs.

Sports equipment, including bikes, surfboards and golf clubs are covered up to maximum value of £2,000. There is a limit of £250 for bicycles and a maximum of £500 per item for other items.
Touring caravan and trailer tents policy benefits

Your caravan and contents (contents up to a maximum of £10,000) will be protected against theft, loss and damage. This includes costs of removal of the caravan, storage costs and delivery of the caravan back to your home (UK only).

We provide separate cover for accidental damage, loss or theft of awnings. Choose your level of cover up to a maximum of £2,500.

For complete peace of mind, we cover touring caravans aged up to 15 years (which were purchased new) on a new for old basis. Find out more.

Choose to extend your caravan insurance to cover your friends and family whilst they are using your caravan.
