What is 'market value' cover?
If your holiday home or caravan is damaged beyond repair or stolen, you will be reimbursed for the market value at the time of the loss.
Can you insure me if I live outside the UK?Unfortunately not. We can only insure permanent UK residents.
I previously made some claims, can I still take out a policy with you?We’ll ask about your claims history when you get a quote with us. Whether we can offer you a policy will depend on the number of claims you’ve had, the claim value and the circumstances.
What should I do if I need to make a claim?If you need to make a claim, please contact our claims department as soon as possible on 0344 274 0272 or by email. Please see Making a claim for further information.
Can I add extra cover to my policy later?Absolutely. We appreciate that your requirements might change from time-to-time, which is why we’ve made it easy to add and remove cover. Simply Contact Us and we’ll make the changes you need, hassle-free.

Can I pay monthly?We offer a variety of payment options. If it suits you to pay in one lump sum, you can choose to pay this by a single Direct Debit from your bank, or by Credit or Debit card. Alternatively, you can pay in monthly instalments. Select the ‘Pay monthly’ option at check out, pay the deposit and we’ll take the remaining balance over 9 instalments.

Can I insure a static caravan, lodge, cabin or chalet that is outside of the UK?
No. Our holiday home and caravan insurance is restricted to within the UK only.
Can my family and friends use my static caravan, lodge, cabin or chalet?Our insurance covers the person who takes out the policy, their domestic partner and members of their family (or families) who are permanently living with them, and their foster children who live with them. If you allow friends and family outside of this group use your holiday home, they will not be covered, unless you have included Rental Cover and Loss of Rent.
Am I covered if I hire out my static caravan, lodge, cabin or chalet?As long as you select Rental Cover and Loss of Rent, your holiday home will be covered for loss, damage or theft whilst on hire. This also provides cover for any loss of rent you might suffer whilst your holiday home is out of use as a result of the damage. Find out more about Rental Cover and Loss of Rent.

What is covered under 'Debris Removal'?Our cover includes debris removal and additional costs up to a maximum of £10,000 which includes the following elements:
- Re-siting and delivery (static caravans only) as a result of loss or damage covered by this policy
- Complying with government or local authority requirements
- Architects, engineers, surveyors and other professional fees
- Clearing debris, demolition, shoring or propping up as necessary as a result of loss or damage covered by this policy

Am I covered for the costs of temporary accommodation following an incident?If you choose to add 'Temporary Accommodation cover' to your policy, you will be covered for reasonable costs of temporary accommodation following loss or damage to your holiday home.
If you are unable to stay in your holiday home due to it being uninhabitable, you can claim the following:
Hotel accommodation (excluding food and drink) up to £75 per day for up to 14 days
or
Hire costs of a replacement home up to £75 per day for up to 14 days

I cannot pick up my new caravan due to COVID restrictions and it is currently being stored at the dealer. They are asking for proof of insurance, is this possible?
Yes this is possible, please contact our customer service team on 0800 668 1505 and they will be able help you.
What age of touring caravan can you cover?We can cover caravans up to a maximum of 15 years old.
Can my family and friends use my caravan?The standard cover is for the policyholder only. If you would like to extend your cover for your family and friends, you can include this by adding the ‘Family and Friends Extension’. You can either add this when you get a quote, or call us on 0344 274 0271 and we can add this for you. Please note that we cannot provide cover you for hire and reward or if you receive any kind of payment for renting out your tourer.
Do you cover all types of touring caravans?We cover over 65 different makes of touring caravans, folding caravans, trailer tents and folding campers. Unfortunately, there is a small number of makes that we cannot cover. Please see below:

Am I covered if my caravan is damaged in a storm?We will cover damage caused to your caravan by a storm, for example, windows can break or falling trees could cause serious damage. Please note, we do not cover any loss or damage to awnings as a result of a storm.
